Trails for Trees: Whānau Fun Day at Arataki

Spend a good part of Sunday 6 September exploring the Beveridge and Exhibition Trails at Arataki Visitor Centre. This FREE drop-in event brought to you by Bupa and EcoMatters and supported by Waitakere Ranges Local Board has something for the whole whānau: Bike Hub colouring-in, bike drawing competition & scavenger hunt with prizes Try an e-bike, decorate-your-bike station, and a photo spot at the giant frame Free bike safety checks and basic maintenance tips Free smoothies by bike Sausage sizzle Coffee and ice cream for sale First 50 people get a free warm drink — bring your keep cup! It is also the launch of the updated Flat White Ride map, your guide to West Auckland’s best cycling routes and cafés. No registration needed — just turn up. This event will continue in wet weather, though some outdoor elements may be removed.
